I had the best time staying at this beautiful barn in the Black Mountains. The property was recently redecorated and it felt fresh and clean. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, including providing essentials upon arrival and even a travel cot, high chair, and toys for my baby. The spaciousness of the barn was impressive, and the large selection of maps and recommendations for local activities made it easy to plan my days. I highly recommend this accommodation for its cleanliness, helpful staff, and convenient amenities.
Everything great.

The hosts were incredibly helpful and nothing was too much of an ask. The property was freshly decorated, roomy, bright, and spotlessly clean. They provided all the essentials and even had a travel cot, high chair, and toys for our baby. There was a great selection of maps for hiking and recommendations for local activities. The location was ideal for exploring beautiful countryside and visiting castles. The beds were comfy, the parking was convenient, and the annex had a lovely view of the garden. The wifi was excellent, and the flat-screen TV had Netflix. The owners were super friendly, and we had some amazing meals at the local pubs nearby. We also loved the little extras like bread, cake, and milk upon arrival. we had a jaw-droppingly fantastic stay and highly recommend this accommodation for those seeking a perfect getaway with all the amenities!

The decoration of the hotel was simply stunning, with warm colors and beautiful furnishings that created a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The general areas were well-maintained, providing a comfortable space for relaxation. As a senior woman, I truly appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. The main areas were easily navigable, and there were no significant obstacles or steps that could pose a challenge for someone with limited mobility.
In terms of catering to senior individuals, the only improvement I would suggest is for the children working there to provide handrails or additional support in certain areas. This would ensure added stability and peace of mind for older guests when moving around the property.

As someone with physical handicaps, I appreciated the comfortable beds and the close proximity to the beautiful Llanthony Valley. The owners were friendly and helpful, providing us with everything we needed for our stay. Additionally, the property had good views and a well-equipped kitchen, including good knives and herbs. The fact that bread, cake, and milk were provided on arrival was a lovely touch. The inclusion of Netflix on the TV was a rare and much appreciated bonus.
Felt like a home away from home, nothing to complain about.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The owners were extremely friendly and accommodating. The views from the property were stunning, and the beds were amazingly comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped with good quality knives and a variety of herbs. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised to find fresh bread, cake, and milk waiting for me. They even had Netflix on the TV, which is a rare and much appreciated amenity. The hotel was also conveniently close to the beautiful Llanthony Valley and only a short distance from Abergavenny. A terrace with garden views: The terrace at this holiday home was like a secluded oasis, offering breathtaking views of the lush gardens. Sitting there with a cup of coffee felt like being in a nature documentary, but with comfier chairs and no voiceover.
Stairs to the annex: The only downside was that the annex was accessed via a flight of stairs, followed by an additional set of steps. While it wasn't an issue for us, it could pose a challenge for those with mobility difficulties.

I had a blast hanging out on the terrace at this place, but don't worry, I didn't try to fly off like at the nearest airport, Gloucestershire Airport. Oh, and there's a garden and free parking, so I didn't have to fight over a spot!
Why couldn't they have thrown in a butler with the free private parking? I had to open the car door all by myself, such a shame!
